Wellness Partners

Beyond medicine, wellness lives in sound, movement, breath, and inner attunement. Our wellness partners are cultural leaders whose work extends BHLI's design philosophy into the sensory and psychological dimensions of a truly restorative home.

Composer, Pianist & Sound Healer — Sonic Apothecary — London

Steinway Artist, composer, and pianist based in London. Founder of Sonic Apothecary — an immersive platform that harnesses music and sound for connection, healing, and wellbeing.

Rosey Chan is a Steinway Artist, composer, and sound artist whose work bridges British classical tradition with cinematic, electronic, and nature-inspired sound. She is the founder of Sonic Apothecary, an immersive platform that uses soundscapes, transformative performances, and creative collaboration to explore how music can heal, inspire, and unite.

Her Mindful Piano Music project began as a personal exploration to support creativity, focus, and inner peace during a period of reflection, and has since become a public offering for those navigating solitude and introspection. She presented Music as Medicine at the WellFounded Conference (co-hosted by HAVAS and Dr. Jack Kreindler) in 2024, and spoke on Sonic Apothecary at Business of Fashion VOICES 2024.

Rosey has performed at the Royal Festival Hall, Piano City Milano, Cafe Royal London (30-day artist residency during lockdown), and via her transatlantic multimedia work Transmissions with film director David Black. She has been featured by Vogue Hong Kong, SCMP, Tatler Asia, Dezeen, and Classic FM, and received the Bvlgari Aurora Award in 2019 for Music × Innovation.

Psychotherapist & Body-Mind Specialist — Rasak Family Counseling — Santa Monica

Marriage & Family Therapist with 25 years of private practice, integrating Western psychology with Eastern mindfulness, meditation, and yoga to help individuals and couples move from surviving to thriving.

Maya Rasak is a speaker, author, and psychotherapist in private practice for 25 years, serving individuals and couples from her Santa Monica office and via secure teletherapy. She is a body-mind specialist who integrates Western psychology with Eastern philosophies drawn from years of teaching mindfulness, meditation, and yoga.

Her holistic approach works with the whole person — mind, body, and emotional life — rather than isolated symptoms. Through deep listening, insight, and practical exercises, she helps clients integrate hidden or unheard parts of themselves into a more whole and grounded sense of self, and supports lasting change through engagement, intention, and willingness.

For individuals she works with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, self-compassion, resilience during stress and transitions, and the release of self-defeating narratives. For couples she supports restoring trust, rekindling romance, sustaining emotional and physical intimacy, healing unresolved wounds from the past, and building secure attunement and connection.
